Product return and transaction cancellation policy:

Any purchaser of a product on the website www.opticonline.co.nz may cancel the transaction in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 1981 (the “Consumer Protection Law”). The Consumer Protection Law allows the customer of a distance selling transaction to cancel the transaction within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product or from the date of receipt of transaction details, whichever is later.

In a remote sales transaction for the purchase of a product, the business must be notified in writing of the cancellation of the transaction within 14 days from the date of receipt of the product or from the date of receipt of transaction details, whichever is later. The cancellation request can be sent by email to support@opticonline.co.nz  , a confirmation of sending must be kept in both cases.

Cancellation of a transaction and refund will only be possible with the credit card with which the purchase was made. In the event of cancellation of a transaction due to a defect, an inspection will be carried out with the customer and, if necessary, the time to collect the product will be adjusted. Refunds will be made in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Returning a product for any reason will only be possible if the product has not been used and is returned in its original packaging without any defect or damage. The return will be made by the customer to the company’s offices.

Any cancellation of a transaction according to the regulations allows the trader to charge the consumer a cancellation fee at the rate of 5 percent of the price of the goods or service or one hundred shekels, whichever is lower. If the transaction was made with a credit card, the merchant may also charge the consumer the payment that was collected from him for the cancellation by the credit companies.

Cancellation of an order on the website before receiving the product and close to the order

You can cancel the transaction you made before receiving the product within 24 hours. If 24 hours have passed, you must wait until you receive the product and you can return it according to the product return policy. 

*All costs associated with returning the product will be borne by the customer. The product will be returned in its original packaging with the box (not destroyed, not glued) and with all the accompanying items
